Scholarships provide opportunities for people to earn an education.  They are helpful tools when building a strong foundation of learning.

The Women’s Association of Duck Woods Country Club (WADWCC) annually awards a scholarship to honor the memory of members who have passed away, to recognize the importance of education and life-long learning, and to support those with financial needs in the community.  Up to $2,000 is awarded to help cover tuition, books and other education-related expenses for those whose post-secondary education has been interrupted or delayed.

The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2021, and finalists will be contacted by May 2021.  Requirements and applications for the scholarship can be found on the Duck Woods Country Club website here.  For more information, contact scholarship chair, Lynn Blackburn, at #252-261-6514 or #252-305-5375 or lelyblackburn@embarqmail.com.
